On this installment of the FFFoxy Podcast show, we get back to combing through a bunch of new releases and notable reissues that have arrived in the mailbox over the past month. There is A LOT of really top-notch material this time around, so much so that I had to hold off on playing a number of other titles that I wanted to get to. But, that just means that I almost have another entire show basically in the can for the next week or two, so be on the lookout for that. Of this show’s spread, though, I’ve been spending a consider amount of time with the indispensable reissues from Luc Ferrari, Nurse With Wound, and Colin Potter. There’s a nice unifying thread that seems to run through those albums and artists. I’ve also taken to the latest works from Bitter Fictions, Martyna Poznanska,Yannick Dauby, and Motion Sickness of Time Travel quite a bit; all seem to capture a very singular, private sound world that I really appreciate. I feel pretty confident in saying, though, that there isn’t a dud in the batch contained herein: give it a listen and see what you think.
